Shelley Doherty

Shelley is a freelance travel writer and photographer from sunny Queensland, Australia. Now living in the hustle and bustle of London, she spends her weekends and spare time travelling the world. She enjoys finding the best places for cocktails and is always after a fresh adrenaline rush. In between travelling and jumping out of planes, Shelley loves to share her experiences through writing.

Education and Experience

Shelley grew up and studied in Brisbane, Australia. She obtained a Degree in Sport Science and went on to work as a Cardiac Physiologist. This job led her to London where her passion for all things travel was ignited. She travelled to over 50 countries in 4 short years while maintaining a full-time job. Looking for more opportunity to travel, Shelley turned to writing her experiences on her blog and online platforms such as Travel & Destinations. She also became the travel writer for Aimee Victoria Long.
