When purchasing/downloading images through our shop we offer various licenses. These detail what you should use the images for as well as general restrictions. On the page of each image, you can see which license applies to the image and an overview of what is and what isn’t allowed.
Standard License
License:
This non-exclusive license is between TravelAndDestinations.com and the customer and is non-transferrable.
1. Content-type:
The content means the image that is downloaded from TravelAndDestinations.com.
2. Permitted use:
This license allows the content to be used for digital reproduction on websites/online, on social media, in electronic products, advertising prints, flyers, inside magazines, newspapers, books, in marketing, as well as for any personal non-commercial use.
3. Non-permitted use:
The images can’t be used on postcards, calendars, posters that will then be resold (including merchandise), as well as on front covers of books (this requires an extended license). The content cannot be resold through download sites or distributed for sale in any other way.
4. Copyright:
The copyright remains with the original photographer but is being licensed in accordance with the terms as detailed in parts 2 and 3.
5. Legal protection:
There is no legal protection provided with your use of the image and by using the image you agree to indemnify TravelAndDestinations it’s owner Mike Clegg against any legal action that is sought based on your use of the image.
Editorial and Personal Use
License:
This non-exclusive license is between TravelAndDestinations.com and the customer and is non-transferrable.

3. Non-permitted use:
Commercial use, marketing, advertisements, OTT programming, broadcast TV, print covers, merchandise product packaging.
The content cannot be resold through download sites or distributed for sale in any other way.
4. Copyright:
The copyright remains with the original photographer but is being licensed in accordance with the terms as detailed in parts 2 and 3.
5. Legal protection:
There is no legal protection provided with your use of the image and by using the image you agree to indemnify TravelAndDestinations it’s owner Mike Clegg against any legal action that is sought based on your use of the image.
The effective date of these licenses: 10th June 2020
