Book your trip to Cinque Terre, Italy’s iconic and colourful villages along the coast. There are five villages that make up Cinque Terre including Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore and it’s possible to hike between them or get a local bus. These destinations can become particularly busy and accommodation might not always be available so other places to stay include La Spezia which is a large city nearby, Genoa, as well as Pisa where you’ll find day trips available (or simply get the train to the villages).
