How can you save money on attractions in Rome?
There are a few cards that you can use to try and save money in Rome. These include the OMNIA Card and Roma Pass.
The OMNIA Card includes attractions in the Vatican and can also include the Roma Pass as part of it (see below). Items included in the OMNIA pass include the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, entrance to St. Peter’s Basilica, and various other items.
The Roma Pass comes in 48 or 72-hour options and provides free access to 1 or 2 of the main attractions (such as the Colosseum, Roman and Imperial Forums, Capitoline Museums and Castel Sant’Angelo) and then reduced entry costs on others afterwards. You also get free use of public transport as well.
Out of both of these passes we’d probably recommend the Roma Pass most as it’s a lot cheaper and still provides a lot. If you did want to do some of the Vatican attractions you could always book these separately if you wanted.
It’s also worth calculating the cost vs booking everything separately.
