Best areas in Prague to book accommodation

We recommend using Charles Bridge as a central point of reference when booking your accommodation. From here you should aim to be within 20-30 minutes walk in any direction, either in the Old Town area or Malá Strana (Lesser Town). This is also where the Prague Castle complex is.

Most of the major highlights within the city are fairly close together and easily walkable. Prague is definitely the kind of city where you could just slowly wander and explore.

Prague has a fairly good transport network as well, so should you decide to be a little further out then as long as you can jump on the subway, a tram or bus, then you should be fine, or even just get a cab. Prague tends to be fairly cheap so this wouldn’t be costing you too much either.
