Sophie was born and raised in London and qualified as an English lawyer before moving to Vietnam. She lived and worked in Ho Chi Minh City for 4 years and travelled extensively around South East Asia during that time, before finally deciding to quit her job and pursue her passion for travel full time.
She has travelled to over 50 countries and has been travelling around South America since September 2019. Sophie likes to backpack on a budget and loves the freedom of solo travel. She prefers to travel slowly overland, and one of her favourite travel experiences was driving a scooter for four days around the far north of Vietnam. She loves adventure activities, sampling all the local cuisine, and sunset beers on the beach.
